A fabulous way to finish the term with our Easter Service.
Our choirs and readers were outstanding. We are so proud of each and every one of them. Londonderry doing what we do best: showcasing talent, encouraging others to step forward, and sharing the true message of Easter.
A sincere thank you to Craig Lynn for delivering such a meaningful Easter message.
Huge thanks also to Mrs Gillespie for bringing everything together, and to Mrs Ward and Mrs Hamilton for their incredible work with the choirs and soloists – who truly were exceptional. 🐣

Check out some of our 🌸 LPS in Bloom 🌸 winners!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part. The entries were absolutely amazing and full of creativity and effort. 🌼🌿
Campbell from Tesco certainly had a very tough job judging with such a high standard on display!
The Principal choice went to a P2 pupil who based her entry around our vision and ethos: Educating, Encouraging and Caring 💙❤️
Did you know that Newtownards Library offers a fantastic range of dyslexia-friendly books?
These specially designed books are printed in a clear, accessible font on cream-coloured paper, helping to make reading more comfortable for children with dyslexia.
All books are free to borrow, and families are welcome to take a few at a time to enjoy at home. It’s a wonderful resource to support and encourage a love of reading for all children.
Following 8 weeks of badminton coaching in school, P7B took part in a good relations event with Ulster Badminton in Ards Blair Mayne Leisure Centre. We joined with pupils from Crawfordsburn Primary and St Comgall’s Primary. A brilliant morning of sports and friendship building!

A wet day for hockey as our mixed team took part in another blitz. Everyone supported each other and, most importantly, had fun. It was a brilliant result, especially as we were playing against schools made up entirely of P7s, while our team was mostly P5s and P6s.
Player of the match, voted by the players, went to Jack for his fantastic tackling. Miss Bell’s player of the match went to Harrison, who stepped into the goalie position for the first time and absolutely smashed it with some brilliant saves.
Well done to everyone—another great opportunity representing LPS!💙❤️🏑

After the Easter break we will be starting our house system.
