π Itβs Parenting Week! π
20th-24th October.
This week we celebrate and say a huge thank you to all our wonderful parents and carers. We know we have the very best at Londonderry Primary!
Being a parent can be tough at times, and it is important to look after yourself too. Self care isnβt selfish, it helps you be the best you can be for your children.
We are sharing some helpful information and resources in the link below.

You are all doing an amazing job! Thank you for everything you do, each and every day.
πIf we had decided to run a pumpkin carving competition, we think this would have been the winning entry! We may have to put this to the test next year!
Fantastic creativity and pure talent on show at Londonderry Primary! π
Numeracy Superstars
Our pupils have been showing off their amazing maths skills this week: from perfecting number formation to exploring decimals and investigating 3D shapes!
They have been numeracy experts both indoors and outdoors, proving that maths is all around us. What a fantastic way to celebrate Maths Week : working hard and making us so proud every step of the way! ππβ€οΈ
Mrs Weir once again welcomed three excited P1 children who couldnβt wait to show off their wonderful writing!
They chatted all about tall and short letters, finger spaces and knew all about a full stop.
The boys and girls are loving life in P1 β especially after their fun trip to the duck pond yesterday!
Life at Londonderry Primary is full of learning, laughter and little stars in the making. π
β½οΈπA huge well done to Jodi and Joel!
Mr Barr picked these two as Footballers of the Match yesterday for their amazing talent, determination and team spirit.
What a duo! Keep up the good work and making us proud! β½οΈβ₯οΈπ

Mrs Weir was delighted to receive two beautiful painted portraits from P1 today! π¨π
P1 have been learning about people who help us in school and it seems they know Mrs Weir very well already, complete with high heels, a big smile and plenty of glitter! β¨π
We are so proud of Jack!
He will be playing the snare drum at The World Solo Drumming Championships, Glasgow, this weekend.
Good luck Jack! π₯
