Check out the fantastic artistic talent from one of our P3 pupils!
He drew inspiration from Belfast artist William Conor’s ‘Town Hall Under Snow’, creating his own sketch of Belfast City Hall and even adding The Odyssey to make it uniquely his own.
What an amazing effort: creativity, imagination and local pride all in one brilliant piece of work! ⭐🎨

Over the next few months, P1 will get to partner with older children in school in many areas of learning. This week P7 visited and helped the P1 children use the JT Easy app on the IPads to make their own animation. They displayed super teamwork and the P7 children were a great encouragement to the younger ones.🎬🎥
🌟Congratulations to our Stars of the Week 🌟
This week our focus was on various curriculum areas and what a fantastic range of talents we celebrated!
🌟 Foundation Stage children were recognised for their brilliant ICT work, using Just2Easy and enjoying Bee-Bot activities alongside their P7 ICT buddies.
🤸♂️ Other pupils shone in gymnastics, showing great effort and skill.
🌟 Children were highlighted for asking super questions, as well as excellent work in arts and crafts, science investigations, ICT coding, and for demonstrating positive behaviours for learning.
A wonderful celebration of learning across the school! Well done everyone!
Today’s assembly encouraged children to understand that they are responsible for the choices they make each day. Using the idea of looking in a mirror, pupils learned that the person they see is in charge of their behaviour, words, attitude, thoughts, decisions and ultimately their happiness and success.
It was a positive, child-friendly message focused on kindness, effort, respect and making good choices; reminding children that they have the power to shape their future by how they act and treat others every day.
