Welcome to the Londonderry Primary School website.

At Londonderry P.S. we have a proud and rich tradition of academic excellence, strong pastoral support and an extensive range of extra-curricular provision and after school clubs. Our school ethos is “Educating, encouraging, caring” and we pride ourselves on the supportive, family atmosphere we have created.

We provide a safe, caring environment and endeavour to instil a love of learning whilst striving to create lifelong learners. Every child, regardless of their ability, will be able to look back on how s/he has participated in the life of the school and how s/he made a valuable and valued positive contribution.

For us, positive relationships and excellent communication are of paramount importance as we work closely together with parents and our community towards shared goals. Sports Day Plans

We have been making plans for our annual Sports Day.  We are hoping this will happen, weather permitting, on Monday 30th May or if it rains Tuesday 31st May.
Please note the following start times:
 
  • Foundation – 9.30am until 10.30am in school grounds
  • Key Stage 1 – 10.45am until 11.45am at St. Patrick’s Tennis Courts beside St. Finian’s Primary School
  • Key Stage 2 – 1.30pm until 2.45pm at St. Patrick’s Tennis Courts beside St. Finian’s Primary School
 
Parents are welcome to all Sports Day events!  It will be great to see you!
 
Note Key Stage 2 children will be allowed to go home from the tennis courts with their parents.  All children who walk home from school or attend After School Club will be walked back to our school by their teachers.
