The Senior Choir is for P5-P7. We meet each week in preparation for performances at our Harvest Celebration, School Open Night, Christmas Carol Service and Easter Celebration. We also enjoy being asked every Christmas to perform outside of school.

Londonderry Primary School loves its music. We have two choirs who perform at least three times every year. The Junior Choir is for children in P3 & P4. Netball Club is for girls in P6 and P7. We meet once a week for practice and play lots of matches and participate in two tournaments throughout the year. We came first in a recent tournament at West Winds Primary School.

Football is played during the first two terms of the school year. Pupils from P6 and P7 are welcome to participate. The school team plays in the Newtownards and District Primary Schools Football League which encompasses schools from Comber and Dundonald as well as Newtownards. In addition to the eleven-a-side league there are 7-a-side and 5-a-side competitions.
These activities are led by outside agencies and therefore occur a small fee to attend.

Allocation of Clubs: Football/ Netball/Hockey - no trial but a team will be selected from those who attend practice regularly.
Attendance: If your child accepts a place
in a club he/she will be expected to attend each session. If he/she fails to attend on three occasions
without providing an appropriate reason his/her place may be offered to another pupil.
Teachers will
send
an acceptance letter/dates to confirm availability and arrangements.
Collection: All children to be collected from the infant playground. Children who are to walk home need to have the permission slip signed from the beginning of the year.
Over-subscription: In the event of a club being oversubscribed, a rota system will operate to ensure all pupils interested are given the opportunity to take part.
